“Working with Skip the past few years, in all honesty, has been so helpful in guiding me to use all the coping tools I needed when going through one of my lowest times in my life. Looking back when first meeting Skip, I was very vulnerable, and my mental health was on its knees. I did not figure at all in the list of priorities. Skip has been such a huge support for me, especially during those times I most needed guidance and has brought me back to some stability in my life. Skip has helped me develop some useful tools to help with my anxiety, lack of confidence, and has taught me how to slow down. I can’t thank Skip enough, he is not only an amazing person, but an amazing therapist as well.”

“I have been suffering from severe food allergies and health issues that doctors could not figure out for years. I was working with a nutritionist, and she finally recommended trying therapy. That’s when I sought help from Dr. Ritter, he has always made our sessions a safe place to share and discover part of myself that I had lost and abandoned. His consistency and willingness to get me to trust and believe in myself is truly a gift from God. Dr. Ritter didn’t just listen but taught me about CPTSD, Codependency and how my body keeps score with unhealed part of myself. Although not every session was easy, they brought me insight that truly made a difference in my journey to better mental, emotional, and physical health. For that I am truly grateful and blessed that I found Dr. Ritter.”

"I was referred to Skip from my previous therapist when body brushing, essential oils, and reiki didn’t work to heal my mental issues. Turns out you need different tools to deal with CPTSD! Skip has been amazing to work with – we have tried different methods to find the ones that work best for me, while still challenging me along the way. I feel like Skip wants me to get better and not just be money in his pocket, so he gets me out of my comfort zone but in a safe and structured way. He wants me to see results and be happier and healthier. If it gets too intense, we take a break and have gentler sessions until I’m ready to attack the problem again. I was hesitant to work with a man, especially when it came to discussing the female experience, but Skip makes me feel heard and understood. I was also hoping that working with a man would challenge me to break down some prejudices I had about men, and he has been instrumental in that success – he’s got confident energy but feels compassionate and very safe. The last thing I want to rave about is that he is excellent at helping me co-regulate while I learn to self-regulate. It’s an incredible talent and one that has helped me heal so much."
