“I have been suffering from severe food allergies and health issues that doctors could not figure out for years. I was working with a nutritionist, and she finally recommended trying therapy. That’s when I sought help from Dr. Ritter, he has always made our sessions a safe place to share and discover part of myself that I had lost and abandoned. His consistency and willingness to get me to trust and believe in myself is truly a gift from God. Dr. Ritter didn’t just listen but taught me about CPTSD, Codependency and how my body keeps score with unhealed part of myself. Although not every session was easy, they brought me insight that truly made a difference in my journey to better mental, emotional, and physical health. For that I am truly grateful and blessed that I found Dr. Ritter.”

The practice of therapy or counseling can result in many long-term mental health and emotional benefits to you, in addition to a possible resolution of the concerns that led you to us. Sometimes, progress is fast, but it can also be slower and sometimes emotionally painful. At times, you may become angry, depressed, anxious, or feel challenged. You may be asked to question long-held beliefs and behaviors. This is completely normal.
Please do not drop out of therapy if you feel discouraged. Discuss it with your therapist, along with any other concerns that may arise. We are in this with you!
